FEMA Disaster Assistance

FEMA Disaster Assistance team members will be available to meet with town residents on April, 17th 2024, from 9A.M to 3 P.M. at the Tremont Town office (lower level), Harvey Kelley meeting room 20 Harbor Dr. Bass Harbor to provide information and take applications for financial assistance from homeowners and renters that experienced financial losses as result of the 09-13 January storms that occurred in Hancock County.  

If you’re unable to meet with FEMA on April 17th you’re welcome to visit the FEMA Disaster Recovery Center, every day, 8 A.M. to 6 P.M. at the Moore Community Center, 125 State Street, Ellsworth. Or, residents may call: (800) 621-3362 at their convenience to begin the assistance process. Thank you

Absentee Ballots are now available at the Town Office for the Annual Town Meeting Election of May 13, 2024 until Thursday, May 9th at 4pm.

Disaster Assistance Approved by FEMA for Hancock County

Eight counties have been approved for disaster relief funds following the January 10th and 13th storms. Residents who sustained losses in the designated areas can begin applying for assistance at www.DisasterAssistance.gov , by calling 800-621-FEMA (3362), or by using the FEMA Federal Emergency Management Agency App. Information on Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) locations will be made available on maine.gov/flood soon for those that may prefer to meet in person with a FEMA representative.
